We were taught that there are 4 basic emotions - anger, joy, sadness and fear. Others say there are 8 basic emotions - surprise, interest, joy, rage, fear, disgust, shame and anguish. I believe there are 101 emotions... and more... as there are basics and nuances... and there are hundreds of cultures, contexts, ways and words to express them. And yet studies show that devoid of cultural norms, all human beings express similar emotions when presented the same circumstances.

I believe that emotional wellness is a major component of a joyful life.

It is my commitment to help you become aware of how your relationship with your emotions affect the quality of your life.
